Educational Program: 6:40-7:40 PM - Panel, " How to Collaborate with Neurodivergent Clients" with Rachel Ferdaszewski and Sue Haas

Description:

Working with Neurodiverse clients provides great rewards, along with sometimes unexpected challenges. Learn hands-on tips from two of our NAPO Oregon members, Sue Haas of Sorted Digs and Rachel Ferdaszewski of Serenispace, who not only aim to serve neurodiverse clients as a part of their organizing practice, but who also personally manage their own neurodiverse households.

Be ready to learn some simple strategies to foster collaboration and connection with your clients who might be struggling to communicate or stay on task.

A panel discussion will follow the presentation, so be sure to bring your neurodiversity-related questions and challenges to the meeting.

Sue Haas

Began her career as a software developer and took that problem-solving mindset into learning how to best support my neurodiverse family's organizing challenges. Over the years, I found myself being tapped by friends for information and advice on how to support their own families. I decided I wanted to help more people with organizing and simplifying their lives, so I started Sorted Digs.

Rachel Ferdaszewski

Originating from Puyallup, Yakama, and of Norwegian descent, Rachel was raised on the shores of the Puget Sound in the beautiful State of Washington.

Rachel created Serenispace to help people have a peaceful home in a chaotic world. She LOVES to create order out of chaos. Rachel comes into each home without judgement and infuses serenity through the power of organization. She will never tell the client what to keep or what to let go. Her client's tell her their priorities and she transforms their home into an environment designed to support them.

Learning Objectives:

Break/Networking: 7:40-8:00 PM

Business Meeting:  8:00-8:30 PM

We look forward to seeing you there!
